De harsrijke planken hebben een levensduur van 7 tot 10 jaar. De rest van de bak (het reservoir en bevestigingsmateriaal) veel langer mee. De bakken zijn gemaakt met een moderne en duurzame manier van rotatiegieten en er wordt uitsluitend voedselveilig materiaal (LLDPE) gebruikt: dat geeft niets af aan het water of je planten! De dikke nylon lonten (ook veilig!) die in het water gehangen worden zuigen het water op en geven het af aan het dikke worteldoek. Daaroverheen doe je de moestuinaarde en het raster. En klaar ben je.
